How much does a session cost?
Hi Mom Basic is $50, Gender Determination is $70, the 6D HD Live every day special is $80, Silver is $120 and Gold is $170. The SneakPeek early DNA gender test starts at $139. Twins add $15 to most sessions. Every price is on the packages page.
What is included in a session?
Every session includes theater viewing for you and up to 20 guests, with 4K projection on the 140-inch screen. Each package then adds its own black and white images, color digital photos by email, prints, and in Gender Plus, Gold and Multiple Visit a video of the session. The packages page lists each one.
When should I come?
Hi Mom Basic from 5 weeks. The SneakPeek DNA gender test from 6 weeks. Boy or girl by ultrasound from 14 weeks. 6D HD Live is recommended from 24 to 40 weeks, when you can appreciate your baby’s face. Use the finder on the home page: type your due date and it tells you.
What is the difference between 2D, 3D, 5D and 6D HD Live?
2D is the traditional black and white ultrasound. 3D gives still pictures with depth, in color. 3D in real time shows your baby moving, live. 5D is high definition. 6D HD Live is ultra high definition, live, with light and skin tones that look real. The 6D HD Live page walks through every step.
How soon can I find out if it is a boy or a girl?
By ultrasound from 14 weeks, and we tell you with 99% accuracy. With the SneakPeek early DNA test, from 6 weeks, with 99.9% accuracy; the result is emailed in 1 or 2 days.
When should I come for 6D HD Live?
Between 24 and 40 weeks. Before week 24 you will not appreciate your baby’s facial features. Many moms come more than once, to have images from the second and the third trimester.
How long is a session?
The scan itself is 5 to 10 minutes for 2D sessions, 10 minutes for the 6D Special, 15 to 20 for Silver and 20 to 25 for Gold. Plan on an extra 30 minutes to an hour so we can send you home with everything you want that day.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, sessions are by appointment. Book online or call (619) 425-8161. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early with your guests: sessions start on time, and we cannot wait for late guests.
How do I get the clearest images?
Drink plenty of water in the days before your visit, and one bottle of water (500 ml) about 30 minutes before. Wear comfortable clothing, no dresses please.
Can you capture twins?
Yes. It takes a little more time and effort, which we gladly provide for $15 more per session (not on Hi Mom Basic or SneakPeek).
Who can come with me?
Whoever you like: up to 20 people in our theater, watching on the 140-inch screen from the leather sofas.
When are my photos ready?
Within an hour after your visit, ready to share with your family and friends.
What if my baby hides her face?
Babies don’t always cooperate. Our team is patient, and if baby hides her face, ask us about coming back.
Is a keepsake ultrasound right for me?
Our sessions are elective keepsake ultrasounds for bonding and memories. They are not diagnostic and are not a substitute for care from your doctor or midwife. For any question about your pregnancy, please ask your doctor or midwife.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. Call (619) 425-8161 and we will find you a new time.
How do I pay?
Payment is due at the time of your visit. We take credit, debit and tap to pay. No insurance needed.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. Se habla español, at the front desk and in the session.
Is the studio wheelchair accessible?
Yes: the entrance, the parking and the restroom are wheelchair accessible.
Do you have gift cards?
Yes, from $10 to $500. Ask at your visit or call.
